The official opening of theThe International Forum of Insurance-Reinsurance (FIAR) 2009 was held inside the Mirror Hall of the Casino of Sinaia , on Monday evening, May 25. This is the place where the leaders and specialists in insurance and reinsurance from the whole world, meet to celebrate the opening of a new edition of the most important profile event of the European spring.This year, Sinaia is lodging the  following participants from Moldova: the insurance companies "VICTORIA Asigurari, Moldasig, Exim-Asint and representatives of the National Commission of the  Financial Market. (NCFM).

  

The forum includes the period 25-29 May, each day having a specific theme so that:
May 25 - BROKER’S DAY  
May 26 - The international  markets’ day / THE ROMANIAN MARKET - TOTALS 2008 VS CHALLENGES 2009 / CEE MARKETS - HOW ARE WE COUNTERACTING THE CRISIS’ EFFECTS / THE CFA DAY  - THE DAY OF FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS / THE DAY OF LIFE  AND HEALTH INSURANCE
May 27 - THE  DAY PRIVATE PENSIONS
May 28 - THE  AUTO INSURANCE DAY
May 29 - BILATERAL MEETINGS, THE OFFICIAL CLOSING
Experts assert that for all those who know the Central and Eastern Europe markets, FIAR play a major role in promoting security and development in this region and in the next 5 years FIAR will continue to grow, as the need of insurance in this area will be increasingly aware.
